Full and Half Steers

+S Brahman Beef provides customers the options of purchasing a full steer, a half steer or individual cuts. Order cut sheets are provided for customizing the processing and packaging of beef to customer specifications.

Full steer orders are priced at $5.75 per pound with an average hanging weight of 800 lbs. The Price you see below is based on 700lbs hanging weight.

Half steer orders are priced at $6.25 per pound with an average hanging weight of 400 lbs. The Price you see below is based on 350lbs hanging weight.

University of Florida documented research has shown that, in comparision to Bos Taurus beef (which includes Angus), Brahman beef is:
Higher in Omega-3 and Omega-6 desirable heart healthy polyunsaturated fats.

+Schneider Brahmans is a registered cattle operation founded in 1974 by O W. & Donna Schneider, both 6th generation Texas Hill Country Ranchers. In 2022 +S Brahmans ranch to table retail beef program was founded.

It is important to not only know where your food comes from, but who it comes from. Our family has been raising Brahman cattle in the Hill Country for 50 years and we are picky about how we raise our cattle because we eat it too. You can be assured that our beef is hormone and antibiotic free.

– Our beef is extremely flavorful. The why goes back to +S Schneider Brahmans superior carcass genetics for tenderness, rib eye area and marbling to provide a flavorful and healthy beef dining experience.

– +S herd sires and females rank in the top 10% of the breed for marbling, ribeye and tenderness. Our cattle herd is 100% DNA verified. Yearlings are 100% ultra-sounded to measure marbling and ribeye area. Rail grade scores (prime, choice, etc) are obtained on 100% of +S steers.

– +S Brahman Beef Program has the distinct advantage of starting with the unique American Brahman Bos Indicus Species of cattle. All other beef breeds are of the Bos Taurus Species.
